Casa do Chascada has the right to modify these Terms and Conditions whenever it is deemed necessary or pertinent.

Use of Service

  1. The user undertakes to use our service while complying with the laws and regulations in force, as well as the Terms and Conditions set forth herein;
  2. The user may not change any content of the service or send messages with viruses or other files that may cause damages to the Casa do Chascada website;
  3. The users of the Casa do Chascada online store are considered final consumers, therefore, all products have VAT included;

Products on the Online Shop

  1. The products presented on the Casa do Chascada’s online store may be purchased by customers, under the conditions currently presented;

Prices

  1. The presented prices include VAT at the legal rate in force at the moment of the purchase of the product by the user;
  2. Casa do Chascada reserves the right to change the prices of the presented products;
  3. The price of the products and the amount of VAT in force are duly presented and detailed in the invoice delivered to the customer;

Shipping Cost

  1. The shipping costs for orders for the Portuguese territory – islands included – are included in the price of the product;
  2. Orders outside Portugal are subject to additional shipping costs;
  3. In shipments to countries outside the European Union, the user may be subject to the payment of customs costs or other fees added by local authorities.

Orders

  1. The order of a product is made after its placement in the shopping cart;
  2. The order will be processed as soon as the payment is debited – credited – to our account
  3. Non-payment 48 hours after the order is placed will result in its invalidation and cancellation

Payment Options

  1. The products ordered on the Casa do Chascada’s online store must be paid through one of the different electronic payment methods available;
  2. The costs of the order are fully borne by the customer;

Delivery Date

  1. The order will only be processed after confirmation of payment;
  2. The delivery date is subject to the availability of the product;
  3. The delivery period can be up to four business days, depending on the zone of the country in question;
  4. Casa do Chascada undertakes to inform the customer of stockouts;

Privacy and Security Policy

  1. Casa do Chascada collects the personal user data for the management of customer accounts, invoicing, and the provision of information;
  2. Casa do Chascada undertakes to respect privacy and security in the processing and storage of personal data of each customer;
  3. When making an online purchase, the user accepts that their data is collected to later receive information about Casa do Chascada;

Complaints

  1. Casa do Chascada has a complaints’ book at its facilities;
  2. In the event of a dispute, the consumer may recur to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Body.
